Selection of cloud based system

After brainstorming and discussing with many folks I decided to go with using freewares and cloud services that help me save time and money. With my limited background in programming (primarily Python and some java and Google services) and interest to learn some basic related fields I thought it would be helpful to pull together some setup during the summer time. I can also count on my parents and extra computer class I was taking.

With Amazon Web Services (AWS), I learnt that it is easier to setup and pretty cheap to make a site. Instead of building the whole website that could handle user interactions, fund transactions, user comments, etc I evaluated many vendors mainly based on cost and ease of use. I found YouCaring being the cheapest while being at the same time providing all the basic requirements to raise funds through internet.
