Donations for Immaculate English School Children, Tanzania
Hello,
My name is Amogh Maganahalli. I am a sophomore in high school. This year, while researching on a Speech and Debate topic in regards to International aid to developing countries, I realized that there is a lot of help needed to the people in Africa. The children in Africa are so poor that they lack basic necessities of life, like water, food, nutrition, housing, clothing and education. I did a lot of research on international funds, how the funds are distributed, and how these funds can help the African people. I was inspired by many of the humanitarian workers from around the world who have dedicated their lives to help these people. I would also like to be a person that can make a difference in another person’s life.
To accomplish my mission, I founded a charity (DonationsWorldWide) so I could raise the funds and help distribute the funds directly to schools, orphanages, organizations, individuals around the world to help make a better life for them.
I feel education is very important for children to overcome poverty, so my campaign this year is to raise funds and donate directly to Immaculate Heart of Mary English School, Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania. Children in this school come from very poor families, in fact many are brought up by grandparents as these kids have single and unwedded moms. The funds I raise will be assigned to these children so they can get the necessary supplies for a school year or even help them buy a uniform to wear at the school.
To reach my goal I am tutoring and providing babysitting services for children in my community. Besides that I am also organizing bake sales and selling my old video games online to gather funds towards my goal. I am also donating 75% of the my christmas gift dollars.
Please help me reach my goal, together we can make a difference. I am really excited and with your support look forward to helping these children with the basic necessities to get an education that can help achieve a better life for them and their families.
